Goodyear Evinrude Sportwin?

I'm fixing up an outboard for a friend. The cowl is an Evinrude Sportwin 10hp, and the welsh plug lists the model number as 10012, which would be 1956. However, the plate on the transom mount says "Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company" Model 2253609. Anyway, I'm looking for a lower unit seal kit and IBoats only lists Kit #18-2682 for 1958-1967. Will this kit work for a 1956?

Call your local marina. Mine has a book on the older ones. I don't think the goodyear will change anything.
