Just got a new motor for my boat. I can't figure out what year it is. The motor stamp says

2074882

I checked all of the johnson serial numbers and they all have V4..33565. (numbers and letters.) there is no number and letter stamps on this motor.

The cover say johnson super seahorse 75. Does anyone know what year this might be so I can get the manual. If this is not the correct number then where would it be located. This number is stamped on the block with a johnson symbol on a raised circle about 1 inch in diameter.

thanks for you help

Re: new johnson super sea horse 75

1960-1965 was the only years Johnson made a 75hp V-4 engine, most aftermarket manuals carry good information on these.
