A OMC service manual will detail the procedure. You might even be able to check out something from the library.

There are 3, 7/16 Bolts on the bracket that holds the starter.One in front one on the side and one at the bottom. The one at the bottom may have a grd wire on it .The one at the bottom may be a little tricky just look for it and you can get it off.very easy.

That lower bolt holding the starter is a real bear to find. It is way down underneath the starter in the back. Use a flashlight to find it. There is not much room to work with but not too bad to get out. I would recommend getting a manual. There are quite few things to disconnect before you remove the starter.
