I changed my primer choke because it was leaking through and making a rich mixture. When I had this one on I could move the throttle lever and take off without any hesitation.I put a used primer choke on and it operates like it should but, when I move the throttle and give it more gas it bogs and will die if I don,t put it back to idle.I tried something different and I moved throttle to speed up.When it started to bog down I pushed in the key to activate choke. It picked right up and ran fine.I can then pull throttle back down and back up and it runs fine.I can shut it off for awhile and it will bog down and not pick up speed unless I push in choke. What can the problem be ? Why did it do this with this choke and not the other one?

if you have to push the choke to keep it going then its starving for fuel.

it didn't do this with the previous choke because it was leaking rich.
eh...the choke lever is in the correct position right?

Time to look at the fuel pump.
When were the carbs last done over?
Choking by-passes the carbs.

fuel starvation, carbs contaminated, mid speed jets, and link n sinc.
