I have a 15 hp Johnson that is a tiller steer that I would like to make remote. I have put it on a boat that is set with a console and has all the steering components except what I need to attach it to the motor. Can anyone tell me how hook up the motor to the steering cable without me having to buy a whole new system. I am very handy in metal fabrication and would rather make something myself than buy something I can make. Any help would be appreciated.
