Like I said, it's a $500 problem!
If you get lucky, it can be solved for 1/2 price.
Now my lower end seems to be leaking. As you would expect,
there is one bolt that will not move! You should have went with the
power trim. That assist cylinder is likely to be DOA in a few years at best.
Next time you should be able to remove it at least!

Actually it was solved for less than $60 in used parts. I guess you guys think I bought the motor new and opted for no power t/t, but you'd be wrong. I'm fine with tilt assist as it's a fairly light motor. I can't speak for the previous owner of the motor, but from here on out it will be meticulously maintained, so any problems that can be avoided will be.

Now, if karlow1 or Johnsonfan14 want to give me the $$$ to upgrade to power t/t or donate the needed parts I'll be happy to install it on my motor, otherwise I'll be happy with what I have.:rolleyes:

Heat, a BFH and a brass drift. Heat meaning an oxy/acy torch.
