I am having trouble locating a cover for my 7.5 HP 1955 Evinrude Fleetwin. Anybody know if a different horsepower (10, 15) cover from the same year would fit? Thanks!

Sorry, the 10 or 15 hp cowls will definitely NOT fit.
If you want one, treat yourself right and place a free want ad at aomci.org

Someone can help you out, I'll bet.

Yep, the '55 7.5 hp cowling is unique. Lots of them out there with ventilated crankcases, so finding a donor motor shouldn't be too hard... It'll be light blue with white "wings" and say Aquasonic forward of the Evinrude logo. The model name on the front will be Fleetwin (Fleet Twin). Here's a pic of mine...
