1988 48 hp johnson

just bought this boat and motor on a 24' pontoon. motor says 100-1 oil mixture is this still correct? herd there were lean issues with 100-1, but no one will give definite answer. a little help would be appreciated.

it was recalled many years ago, they said remove the sticker, and use 50:1 ratio. that is a great motor.
