While overhauling my carbs this weekend I damaged the carb body while driving punch into "welsh plug?" (domed replaceable plugs). The punch went through plug a little too far a enlarged the small hole in carb body.
I assumed the larger hole would create a fuel flow issue (was I correct?).
I had another set of carbs that looked identical so used the body from the other set. After rebuilding and in process of installing back on motor I saw cast in the carb body the number 1 5/16 but the old carb was 1 3/16. Is this an issue being that one is 1 5/16 and the other is 1 3/16.
Only switch one.
