I have a 1983 Johnson J35elcts....The harness from the control box to the red plug on engine harness has worn near the female plug..(one from the control box)....I looked online and it is no longer available.....the wires dried right where they enter the plug and the have frayed and started to corrode....so no splicing option for me..
does any one know if they make a after market plug that I can rewire into...some I seen on ebay look as bad as mine and all taped up...so just another problem later...
kind of sad they are no longer available ..whats a person to do if they have a problem like mine...or at least offer a rewirable plug
