On my 1987 evinrude v4 vro 120 hp,there are 2 hoses conected to the pee hole.I disconected the ends of these hoses from the pee hole to see how they pee individually. One hose is thicker with the other end of the pee conecting towards the back of the motor, the other hose is thinner and the other end of the pee connects towards the front of the motor.
Both hoses are peeing good steady streams, however the stream on the thinner hose is cold compared to the thicker hose its warm.
I ran the motor for over 45 min yesterday on the garden hose and the temp gage was a tad above mid range with no warning buzzers sounding.

Should i be concerned with the cold water peeing from the thinner hose?

Re: stream on the thinner hose is cold

A correction to above post.
The thinner hose is at the back of the motor and the thicker hose is towards the front.
