I am having a frustrating time trying to diagnose an intermittent problem.Boat had sat about three months initially ran perfect. After two tanks of gas started to have issues. After a long non eventful day engine started to not want to rev above 3000rpm under load. Sporadically power would return while attempting to get it on plane again.Tried pumping primer while trying to get under way no help.Checked compression 120 all around,Tore down and cleaned carbs,Replaced plugs.Has spark on all 4 cylinders and removing any lead drops RPMS. Running on muffs Motor will idle fine. When linkage is removed to separate carbs left bank revs fine,Applying throttle to right bank causes major stumbling but can be made to rev with a little throttle play but misses, you can here it trying to fire properly.Engine has about 170 hours.

Could possibly be the reed valves. Check for fuel blowing backwards out of carbs.

Test your coils and plug wires. A coil will cause that also. Check all four, IIRC the carbs on the right feed the cylinders on the left and vis-versa.
