The recommendations from Evinrude are that generally 1958 and prior used 20:1, 1959 thru 1963 used 24:1, 1964 and newer use 50:1.

There are however pre 1964 engines that will run happily on 50:1 and there are also some post 1964 that are better run on 24:1 .. mainly the small ones.
A 1967 6hp, like those prior to 1964, does not have needle bearings for the crank shaft main bearings so that would be better run on a more oily mix than 50:1
The use of 100:1 was introduced by OMC in 1985 but after a couple of years they realised it was a mistake .. No OMC motors should be run on 100:1.
It is worth noting that even those brands that do allow 100:1 usually specify 50:1 if the engine is to be used commercially.
