I just bought the above motor. It has the oil injection still connected. I have put 50-1 mix in the tank just to make sure the injection is working. I haven't run it enough yet to confirm that the oil level is dropping, but motor runs fine. My question is, do the tiller steer motors have alarms and a horn on them. and i read about grounding the tan wire to the block to test the alarms, but i have located several tan colored wires. Can anyone tell me specifically which wire to ground and would i have to splice into the wire or is this wire one i can unplug and ground? thanks luke.
