1948-1951 Evinrude Sportsman

I have an Evinrude Sportsman model number 4425. It last ran 30 years ago, and has been sitting in my garage ever since. I would like to have it repaired and get it running, but not if the cost will be more than its value. Does anybody know how I could determine its approximate value?

Peter Hunn's Old Outboard Book (1994) values it from $5 to $75. Adjust for inflation and un-adjust for the economy. $75 would be for a real pretty nice original condition motor that runs well.

And if it's not too bad off, you can expect $75 or less for parts and about $75 worth of your time ($15 per hour) to fix it up yourself...if you're confident and have basic wrench skills.
