wondering if any of yall had delt with overheating in outboard motors. my 'rude is overheating and i was looking for a good place to start working.
the water pump seems to be working, at least water is coming out of the pee hole. my engine buzzer is continuously buzzing, and my heads are too hot to even touch. thanks for any help yall can provide.

You know you have a problem if the heads are too hot to touch, so you can rule out a faulty alarm.

Did this problem just start? Have you owned the motor for several years or is it "new to you?" When was the cooling system last serviced?

The cooling system isn't complicated, but you'll need to troubleshoot. Start with inspecting the water pump impeller, but also check the stats for correct opening temperature.
