I have been trying to get this motor to run for about a week, I have changed fuel lines and couplings, cleaned carb and checked for spark. It will start, but will not now, but not stay running. I do not have a manuel. How should the hi and low speed jet be adjusted? Rich, lean or somewhere in the middle? Any suggestions?

Start with both needles 1-1/2 turns open. When the engine starts, turn in , or out the bottom, or high speed knob til the engine runs the smoothest, and fastest. Drop down to idle, turn the upper,or slow speed knob in til the engine starts to slow down, or cough back. Turn back out til engine runs the most smooth, and steady,

Remove the recoil starter and the tin plate covering the flywheel. Look down through the holes. You are probably going to find cracked coils in there. You are beating your head against the wall and wasting your time till you replace them.
