I need to replace the power pack on my 1995 70 HP Evinrude. Can I just replace it, wire for wire, then be done, or does the timing have to be set again? I'm hoping I can do everything and not have to have the mechanic come back. This thing has cost me a fortune so far in labor to determine the power pack is bad.

Thanks, Bob

just take off the old one, put on the new one and your done, very simple job, as long as you are carfull with the wires, they can become brittle, but no biggee really.
