Everywhere I look it appears that the kit is not made any more. Does anyone have alternate kit that will fit the early 7.5? Thanks

That would be the Tillotson MD carb? Tillotson parts are rare. What do you need for it? I found that one of the float valves is still available from BRP/dealers. For the 14hp I think but I'd have to check that out again. Might have been the Gale 12

"Tillotson MD"? Beats me. Whatever is on it!

What do I need? Well I'd just like the standard kit to rebuild it as it starts hard and runs lousy at WOT.

It is a MD by Tillotson. You probably won't find a kit for it. In fact, when they did make kits, they were major kits that included dang near anything in it that was replaceable. If it's any help, the MD was an extremely popular carburetor in those days, used on a gazillion different makes and models of motors, with variations to suit the applications. I'm amazed that nobody makes aftermarket stuff for them.

So Tillotson is the manufacturer and MD is the model?

I though J/E made their own stuff, how long did the outsource for?
