Hi, I recently purchased a 1997 70/50 jet power outboard and matching 9.9 kicker and ordered a clymer 2-70 hp repair manual that was supposed to cover jet models. Well once the manual arrived it only covered 18 and 35 hp jets, can anyone tell me where or how I would get a manual on the 70/50 jet? The manual covers info on the power head, however I would like info on the factory pump, such as impellor size, and maintenance. I would like to possibly go to a stainless impellor if possible.
