Evinrude cowling paint color

I am trying to determine exactly what is the dark color part on the cowling of a 1986 Evinrude 110 HP. It's either a faded black or some sort of dark blue.

I have tried to order Tempo paint that I thought might be right, but none of that which I would like to try is any longer available.

Other than taking the cowling to a paint shop, any ideas? Does anyone know the right paint to use?

I seen a post in here not too long ago about this very thing, some boat shop up north. Check back in the forum a few pages. I will look also.

Probably talking about Peter McDowell at nymarine.ca

It would be a lot cheaper to take a sample to an auto paint store, if you have a good sample.
