Evinrude Motor Identification

I need help in getting the age of my recent Evinrude purchase. The model is E15RCNC and the serial # is E0055455. Those don't fit any scheme that I have read on how to identfy my 15hp Evinrude.

Ihave an old Evinrude outboard in my basement. I need to know what year it is and what HP The number on the motor is 5524R and 01364 help?

Looks like your motor is a 5.5 HP 1962.
