1988 Evinrude 150 Cowling Question

I recently bought a nice 1988 Evinrude 150 V6 outboard. The cowling has been horribly repainted and the original emblems are missing off of it, so I want to replace it. I recently found a cowling off of a 1988 Evinrude 175XP V6 that is in excellent shape. Before i buy it, can anyone tell me if the two engine sizes are the same? I used to have an original 1988 Evinrude line catalog but I can't seem to find it to verify. THANKS!

They Should be simlar both v6's

The only difference may be that the XP cowls all had the side vents.
