VRO Part number cross reference

A couple of years back my mechanic bypassed the VRO on my '88 GT 150 when the pump started to fail. I've regretted the decision and want to replace the pump and undo his "undo" of the operation. :/

The original P/N for the VRO pump assembly is 174307. I can't seem to find the part anywhere and was hoping that someone can direct me to finding the "supercede" part numbers.

#174307 was the old P/N for a 1986 model 150.the old P/N for the 88' model 150 was #174564. In either case the replacement updated P/N for 86' or 88' model 150 hp engine is 5004559.Might want to post the model number of your engine to be sure you're getting the correct part.

Sorry about the 88/86 mixup. It's definitely an '86 GT 150. The P/N is right out of the owner's manual. (Just wait until you start wearing contacts and bifocals....)
