48 hp evinrude tilt assist problem?

I have a 1989 48 hp evinrude that has a tilt assist cylinder on it. Over the winter mounths the cable that controlls the cylinder froze up. As I was working to free it up I broke the plastic bushing that holds it to the cylinder. Is there anywhere I can find info. or parts for this. The only numbers on the unit are 434037. I figure they are just casting numbers but dont know. Any info is much appreciated.

Hey Steven,<br /><br />You can go to the BRP website and look up your motor using the model number. They have exploded pics of all the components. Might want to look at ishopmarine.com to buy the part you need, if iboats here doesn't have it....<br /><br /> BRP
