Johnson 115 2000 model wont idle

Hi

I let the motor sit for awhile without staring it, always started easy in the past
now the only way to start is with the throttle on and then it sounds like its struggling and wont idle
i tried changing the cdi power pack, no difference, have cleaned out the carbys
seems to get flooded easy then wont start.
any ideas?

Did you try the fuel filter? Had a similar issue before and fixed with a new fuel filter.

What's the compression on it ??
