Hi everyone, I've been researching the forums to try to avoid asking questions that have already been answered, but I still have a couple of questions. In converting from the old pulse pack to the automotive MSD ignition, the instructions that have been posted to this forum in the past say to wire a second coil and ground it to the engine block to reduce the secondary voltage to the distributor in order not to damage the rotor. My question is whether this means to wire the positive post on the coil to the block or the post that would normally go to the distributor. Also, in either case, would doing this pose a risk of getting shocked by touching the engine block, or is the engine block a solid ground, whether it's in the water or on the trailer. Any help would be greatly appreciated
