I have a 1959 golden jubilee evinrude motor. I was wondering how fast it should run? Just had it services and it runs about 10kmh. Thanks for any input.

Knowing which of the Golden Jubilee(1959) Evinrudes would be a big help, and as asked earlier what is it pushing?

It's pushing a 14ft aluminum boat with just me(185lbs). Not sure which jubilee it is. Didn't know there was more than one kind.

Might move up to the center seat and see if you get more speed.

A 10 hp should be enough to plane a light 14 foot car topper. Move the gas tank, anchor, as far forward as you can.

That motor should be able to get the boat up on plane easily and move you at least two or three times that speed.

Have you tried pulling one plug wire at a time to see if it really is firing on both? They start and sound fine on just one cylinder.
