Hey guys so I was taking off lower unit to do water pump replacement and two of the bolt snapped off. Just trying to figure out the best method to remove them without damaging anything else. Once I dropped the lower unit I got out the impeller easily. I bought the boat about 3 weeks ago and I'm pretty sure it was in the salt.

Exact model is 85TLR76G. I don't think that matters all that much considering it's just a stuck bolt problem just looking for ideas guys. Thanks

Get a vice grip pliers and an oxy/acy torch. Heat the area around the bolt, take the vice grips and work it out.

IMO, Would try some salt away or vinegar first -- maybe cola (Royal Crown if in the south.....)

Tried cola, PB blaster and vice grips. Tomorrow I am going to get an EZ out and a torch and see if I can't get them out. I really wanna see how this engine will do. I already rebuilt the controls. Wouldn't go in reverse. Needed a new shift lever assembly. Now its smooth as silk and runs great but cant test without bolting on the LU.
