Hi was wondering if tooth count will cause problems when replacing the starter. Cause going by the model number when looking for one it list 3 different teeth count. One has 9, another has 10 and the third one has 11.

Yes, it has to mesh with the teeth on the fly wheel.
Your starter should be a 9 tooth.
