Prop for 75hp Johnson

Would like to know best prop for 75hp Johnson on a 18' bass buggy pontoon boat. I know it is a short case and 13 spline I would just like to know prop size and pitch and 3 or 4 blade for best performance. Thanks in advance for your help.

Are you saying your motor is a short shaft.

Yes it has the short gear case on the lower end

You should have put this in prop questions. Props are not a 1 size fits all thing. You need to find a prop that will let your motor rev to 5800 rpm with a light load. Michigan wheel has a prop finder on their website. Or you can call a dealer and ask what Johnson would recommend for a prop it may take some experimenting. Does the motor have a prop already?

If this is the 15" transom , short shaft / small gearcase than it may not be suitable for an 18' boat.-----------Meant for small 13 / 14' boats and light loads.

Put up a pic of your motor if it is a short shaft it is valuable.
