I am wanting to buy a 9.9 for my boat, found an 1994 Evinrude short shaft, non-electric start tiller on Craigslist. I was wondering what a good price to pay for this motor would be, it is in excellent condition? All opinions excepted, don't be shy.

would depend on where you are. the price the market bears is geographically dependant. in the midwest, $200, on the east coast $600, on the west coast, $700 in canada $1200

I agree with Scott. This is entirely location dependant. I have sold motors any sane person would not buy for ridiculous amounts....I also have motors I'd give away that nobody would take, but if I lived somewhere else I could sell em in an hour.
