I have a 1993 Evinrude 65 Jet that I bought new.
I had the carburetors rebuilt a couple of years ago (I let it sit to long and they gummed up)
The problem I'm having now is the motor is very hard to start. It wants to start but seems to be fuel starved. I have to hold in the choke and hit the throttle to get it going. once it is going it runs like a top idles fine and plenty of top end power. As soon as I shut it off It takes forever to start again even warmed up.
I have good pressure at the bulb and new fuel lines and filter Could this be a fuel pump diaphragm problem?
Thanx Ramprat
