Hi guys engine is a 1987 evinrude 150, 155hp i just used the evinrude engine tuner to decarb, follow the intructions but seems that now engine is trending to overheat, will the engine tuner block something that will cause the engine overheat, new water pump kit been installed, engine never try to overheat before the use of the spray.

Maybe the cleaner removed some carbon that was plugging up a combustion leak at the head gasket. (Just thinking out loud.)

make sure when using muffs that theres adeuate pressure to lift the water up to the pump and when in a barrell make sure the pump is submerged by at least four inches
