Evinrude 40 HP Power Trim/Tilt Fluid

Just began rebuilding a 1997 Evinrude Motor and noted the top seal leaking on the power trim/tilt. Cannot find anywhere if the hydraulic cylinder uses automatic transmission fluid or steering fluid. Appreciate any inputs.
