Does anybody know how to winterize the 1994 Johnson 88hp SPL at home? Any help would be appreciated, Pics would be useful too.

Easy.

1) drain water - motor in running position
2) change the leg oil
3) disconnect fuel line and drain carbs (remove bottom jet screw on each carb to drain, either side, only need to take one out). Alternately, you could run the motor until it's out of fuel before you take it off the water for the last time.
4) remove airbox cover and fog with storage oil while cranking, throttle plates open. Have ignition off and crank using a crank switch on the starter solenoid to prevent firing.
5) remove spark plugs and spray some storage oil in cylinders, replace plugs and crank again
6) if you're storing it outdoors, some folk recommend fogging the underhood area with WD-40 as a corrosion inhibitor
7) put some stabilant in your gas if there's any left in the tank
8) drink a beer or several

It sounds good, but if you run it for a while after you put the stabilizer in the tank whatever fuel is left in the carbs will also be protected.
Also, if you do oil the cylinders, crank the engine over before you reinstall the spark plugs to expel any excess oil. Too much fluid in one of the cylinders could cause serious engine damage.

Gee, add the fuel stabilizer and run motor to stabilize the fuel in the carbs. While the motor is idling on the flusher, spray fogging oil into the carb throats, until she stalls. Now remove flusher and let water in motor drain. Drain and refill gearcase, grease zerk fittings, grease steering rod, spray corrosion guard on block. If you run in saltwater, hose off block and let her dry, then apply corrosion guard.
