1955 Johnson Seahorse - My First Restore

Fairly new to Motor restoration but I needed a new hobby. My father is currently restoring a 1956 Peterborough and I was tasked with the motor. I ended up buying a 1957 Lark to go on the boat, but I found this baby for next to nothing so I thought I would give it a shot. The picture is not the completed state. I still have a few parts to install. Have a look and let me know what you think!

New point,condencers,coils wires,waterpump,lowerseals it would be a beauty. compression good?

Would be a perfect match for the pete.Idid a 56 30hp evinrude for a fella and then instead of putting it on the pete he put a stupid Honda on it .I was so bummed.
