Appears you are on track. As rpms go up when leaning the mix, lower the throttle idle stop accordingly (plastic screw) -- about 650 rpms idling warm and in gear. Admit, though, I go by sound. Good idea to clean up and regap plugs after dialing it in.

Is the auto choke working, or not so much?

Ill have to get a tach and wheres that screw at. Also on a side note do these have a wire for a tach

On yours, look for a vertical throttle stop screw and spring at the base of the tiller handle (i.e., where the handle would be) -- at the knob and shaft assembly.

(Research inductive tachs.)

Sender in head would probably be an overheat switch unless it's aftermarket. Picture?

No Title

Its circled in red but is for overheat light on dash. Would it still work for a gauge though. Might have to zoom in to get better idea and im not home thats only pic thats close
