1968 Johnson FD-22M replacement fuel pump cross ref?

Hello. I recently purchased my first boat, cool little aluminum thing equipped with a 1968 Johnson 20HP FD-22M. The thing sat for quite some time so im doing all the necessaries to get it ready for the water again.

The fuel pump it comes equipped with is a 0388685 as per the Marineengine website. I have found the replacement online for 70 bux. In an attempt to save a couple bucks does anyone know of a rebuild kit for these pumps or if a sierra 18-7350 can replace it? They look similar and believe I saw a thread where it came into question but never found an answer.

I have no issue paying the 70 bux, but im sure we all like to save, dont convict me.

Everything from the stacks,nipples, hardware and mounting gasket(not shown in the image) seem to match up. But i dunno

Those can be rebuilt for less than $20.
The BRP kit # is 0393088
Sierra # is 18-7823

I saw a guide on that, the guide was for i believe 13-18 hp johnsons... would those have the same pump as I?
