tilt and trim

my trim wont push the motor up . when i pick the motor up by hand and lock it off the bottom 2 rams will go up and down . just wont do it with the weight of the motor on them . any ideas

Is the fluid level correct in it ?? Is the battery voltage correct ??

Did you add the fluid in the full tilt position. Then cycle it up and down 5 times ??

yes . i can pick the motor up and down by hand without breaking the release screw on the side . that can't be right???

Something is wrong if the release screw is fully seated and you can still move the lower unit up/down. Once that emergency release screw is fully seated, the engine should only tilt (move) as a result of the hydraulic pressure of the pump. Are you sure the screw is seated? Is the screw damaged at the tip?

thx for responding guys ... got it fixed today .. replaced all the o-rings in the cylinders and it works fine ......
