I believe I've lost the reed valve on my 1996 E60TLEDR. I have oil/fuel mixture in my case and when I spray fuel into the middle cylinder I get nothing. I have ordered the "Reed Valve" #0313420 Reed Valve" but can not find the "reed stop #0323688". I've never had to replace one of these before, but looking at the Schematics the Reed Valve is what holds the Reed stop closed. I would believe to do a correct repair I would need the reed stop as well and 6 of them at that. Any help on where I can get a replacement or something someone has used that works as well would be greatly appreciated.

The reed valves are made of spring steel and close on their own. The reed stops prevent the valves from opening too far (distorting the valves) and never go bad. You wouldn't need them to replace unless someone has lost one.

"Middle cylinder" sounds suspicious. Do a compression test first. Compression numbers do not depend on the reed valves.
