Ok so I got a boat from a family member who has passed and I am having issues, it has a Johnson 30hp tiller on it and when I pump the fuel bulb up then start the motor it drains the line of gas and won't pull more gas. Now it doesn't always do this...if I keep pumping the bulb then get the motor up and going it runs but once I come down In rpm it will idle for a bit then drain all the fuel out of the line and die again. I am curious, weak fuel pump? It has a new fuel cell new line and bulb, new plugs motor was serviced but carb and fuel pump has not been touched. Can anybody shed some light?
