I have recently installed a 93 ocean pro 150 on my make center console...when I turn the key on I get a quick beep from the alarm...is there a way to test the sensors to make sure they set the alarm off...for example grounding or powering the coolant sensors to make sure they turn the horn on or the same with the oil system...i want to make sure the alarm will work when it needs to

That motor should have the 3 wire VRO pump. If so, you have alarms for overheat, low oil and possibly a fuel restriction alarm. Grounding the temp sender wires on each head should set off the overheat alarm. There is a float in the oil reservoir, which when the oil gets low, grounds the sender wire for the low oil alarm.

Look next to the VRO pump for a vacuum switch on the fuel line. That will be the "Check Engine" alarm, and will ground if there is a vacuum in the fuel line.
