Help Please, no spark

1974 Johnson 115 hp, no spark, found plenty of info, pulled black and yellow wire still no spark. Thats as far as I get, nothing says what to do if you have no spark after pulling black/yellw wire. What should I do next? Any help deeply appreciated.

Go to cdielectronics.com. They have good trouble shooting procedures.

Thank you, I found so many things on the web that go as far as removing the black and yellow wire and then nothing on what to do next.

Got as far as pulling the yellow wires off the rectifier, Still no spark and that's were they leave you off, nothing about what to do next, still no spark still looking for help.

If that's the case you better find an OMC Factory Service Manual. That tells all.

Thanks, I have a 1975 Johnson outboard 85hp Service Manual, it's really kind of hard to follow, it has you checking everything you can think of. CDelectronics is what got me this far, the Johnson manual says nothing about pulling wires to check things.
