1977 70hp johnson RPM testing

Im a few weeks away from putting my boat in the water for the first time. I have two props to play with i cant remember what the pitch is. Does anyone know what kind of RPMs i need to be pushing with this motor on a 1975 checkmate? Any other helpful first time testing advice?

It's usually printed on the model/serial plate on the transom bracket.

Book says WOT operating range of 4500-5500 RPM. Always aim for the top end of that range to prevent lugging the engine.
