1999 Evinrude 70 HP E70PL4SS outboard motor silencer hose Leaking excessive Fuel

Hello All,

I recently Bought a 1999 Evinrude 70HP, and im having issues with a LOT of Gas comming out of the Air Box from a Hose thats from the top of the air Box in Front, to the rear of the Motor (fuel Pump)?
she starts Great, and runs well, but after about 2 Miles at 25? MPH, i slowed down and she Studders and Stalled.. Flooded. I disconnected the Fuel line, and she ran for 5 mins before running out of Fuel. I limped back to the Dock by jaming a screw driver in Said Fuel Line. The only noticeable change with the Screwdriver was the Fuel / rainbows in the Exaust. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
