I have recently bought a project boat. Its got an evinrude 70hp 1975 outboard. I am having troubles with the motor. I have replaced the stator, coils, plugs and leads, new fuel pump, new carby repair kits, new fuel line and primer. It has good spark and compression is 120 top 120 middle 115 bottom. It will start and run for around 5 seconds and then it cuts out. Its as if it keeps flooding. I have triple checked the floats in the carbies and they are all good. Don't know what my next step is. Could it be the 25 ltr fuel tank or vent?
