Info on Evinrude motor

I am looking at a boat that has a 1996 Evinrude 115hp motor on it. The owner claims it has less than 100 hours on it. The model # is E115TSLEUA and the serial # is G04198614. Not sure if the G should be there or not. Does anyoneknow if this is a looper or crossflow? If it is in good shape should it push a 17' FG boat ok?

Do a compression check on it and check the lower unit oil.

I found out that a Johnson repair shop is selling it. That is good news!!

I looked at the boat yesterday. Motor turned out to be a 1997, not 1996. Gear oil looked fine. Had them check compression and I wrote down the numbers. 155,160,160,157. Pretty good for a 19 year old motor.
Didn't get the boat as he only had a bill of sale from PO and never got it in his name. Told him to fix the paper work and call me.
