I have this tank I found at the flea market and I would like to use it with my 1990/91 Evinrude VRO 40 hp motor.

However, there is this ball bearing seal, as seen in the attachment.

How do I convert this so I can connect a hose with squeeze bulb to it?

Just popping out the ball bearing is the solution or will this tank not be compatible with my motor?

Whatever you do Just make sure your new tank is clean, and no rust is inside.
Assuming the Chrysler tank connector on the tank doesn't leak around the 0-ring you can cut your fuel line assembly tank end fitting off, and purchase the tank end connector for a chrysler.

Or you can remove the Chrysler fitting from the tank, and put in a 1/4 npt 5/16 fuel barb, and connect it to your tank assembly.
