I am experiencing a significant power loss at altitude. The motor runs great at 1000' or less.
When I took up to the lakes above 4500' that I fish, I could barely get it up on plane. I have
consulted three dealers and some say that the computer should compensate for altitude others are not sure. I need to start asking informed
questions of the dealers. I recently purchased this boat and motor, and had it checked out on the
computer by a certified dealer. They said the motor was in great shape with low hours. I can't help but believe that something can be done to compensate better at alltitude. Jet components
had be checked out and are not a cause.

sprigone,

The computer can only compensate so much. Less air (altitude) means less performance, no matter what you do.

The only solution is turbo or supercharging. Not doable on your engine.
